My story

Barks n Bubbles opened its doors in Highcliffe with one goal in mind: to create a grooming salon where dogs actually enjoy coming. I know that's a bold claim — but I've seen it happen time and again, even with the most nervous of pups.

My approach is unhurried and dog-led. I never rush an appointment, I never use harsh handling, and I always take the time to understand what each individual dog needs. Whether your dog is a bouncy Labrador who loves the whole experience, or an anxious rescue who needs extra reassurance, I'll meet them exactly where they are.

I'm proud to be part of the Highcliffe community and to care for so many wonderful dogs — and their equally wonderful owners — in the local area.

Every decision we make starts with the dog's wellfare. If a dog is stressed, we slow down. Their comfort comes before anything else.

Patience, Kindness and Respect

I never rush. A calm, unhurried groom is a better groom — for the dog, for the coat, and for the relationship I build with every visit.

Honest and transparent

I'll always tell you honestly how your dog got on, flag any skin or coat concerns I notice, and give you straightforward advice.

Hi, I'm Kelly, the face behind Barks n Bubbles.Starting this business has been a dream if mine.  I've always had a love for dogs and wanted to create a calm, one to one grooming experience where every dog feels safe, relaxed and genuinely cared for.For me grooming isn't just about making dogs look beautiful, it's about building trust, giving every dog a positive experience and treating them as if they were my own.I'm City and Guilds  qualified and Pet First Aid certified, and I am passionate about continuing to learn so I can provide the very best care.
